It does not get much better than fat free brownies that actually taste good. Which is why I am such a raving fan of No Pudge Brownie mix. Really they are excellent and fat free.
No Pudge Mix is now available at most grocery stores, at least in the east. I recently paid $2.29 at Trader Joes for a 13.7 oz package that will yield 12 good sized brownies.
Its a snap to make these brownies. You literally mix the brownie mix with your favorite fat free plain or vanilla yogurt and bake, its that easy and almost healthy. Please note that when using vanilla yogurt the taste will be more sweet than plain. As an alternative I recommend using plain yogurt a tea spoon of pure vanilla extract. It should also be noted that fat free is not sugar free. Each serving of No Pudge Fat Free Brownies does contain 22 grams of sugar. This is not bad for a desert, especially one that is fat free. Nonetheless we are not talking sugar free.
Back to the fun part eating brownies. The brownies take about 30 to 35 minutes to bake. Then you will have a rich, gooey, fudge brownie that happens to be fat free.
These brownies taste as good as they do because of the high quality ingredients used in the mix. You will be able to pronounce all of them:
* Pure cane sugar
* Unbleached wheat flour
* Dutch cocoas
* Egg whites
* Corn starch
* Wheat gluten
* Salt
* Baking soda
That's it! I never would have guessed that tasty fat free brownies could be so simple. Fortunately Lindsay Frucci the founder of No Pudge Fudge did. These fate free brownies are great. Thanks Lindsay.
