The Asics Gel Kinsei running show is the BEST running shoe on the market. The Gel Kinsei is flawless in every way but one, price. The manufacturer's retail price for he running show is $165.00. I was able to find the shoe for $155, but expect to pay $150 plus, a significant price to pay

Those who do pony the investment are in for one sweet ride. First and most importantly, the Gel Kinsei is the best cushioned shoe on the market. Despite the extreme cushioning the shoe's feel is firm and supportive. I found many other highly cushioned shoes to feel mushy, not this shoe from Asics.

Also Asics have a great track record for lasting a long time. I have tried many other running shoes through out the years and other cushioning systems seem to never last as long. I'll easily put 600 miles on these shoes and still feel comfortable with the cushioning. Given that I have had knee problems in the past this is extremely important to me.

While I'm fortunate that I do not tend to over pronate or twist my ankles, the Gel Kinsei does provide provide great lateral support and stability. This makes the Gel Kinsei a great choice for folks that need the extra support.

What is extremely impressive is the fact that the Gel Kinsei packs tons of cushioning and support and does so while maintaining a very light weight shoe.

Other nice thinks about the running shoe and Asics in general include:
* Scotchlite reflective material built into the shoe for reflectivity.
* The Gel cushioning system.
* Light weight
* Most Asics Gel running shoes are accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

If money's no object this is the Gel Kinsei is the shoe for you. You wallet may hate you, but your knees will be smiling with every mile. I highly recommend the Asics Gel Kinsei.
